Team 5 Foundation is composed of special forces, medical practitioners, survival experts, and civilian ultra-athletes who are MD’s, RN’s and so much more! This undaunted group is a non-profit, SOFMED, veteran foundation that travels too extreme and remote locations all around the world to provide medical care to those who are often forgotten and overlooked. 2020 is dedicated to a world expedition to assist those suffering from Covid 19 and more. 

Team 5 Deploys with the Peruvian 7th Fleet Navy and MINSA to the northern and eastern remote parts of Peru.This two-week deployment is a two part program.

Step 1: Team 5 will be conducting dental, medical and ultrasound clinics estimating 100 patients per day and they will be transported by navy ships, helicopters, aircrafts, trucks and by foot.

Step 2: Team 5 flies the surgical team to the Navy ships to conduct surgeries for cleft pallets and lips for 5 days straight!

All in all, this joint mission will conclude with over 500 patients seen, approximately 15-20 surgeries, 20 Special Forces Medics trained in TCCC, Luminaid Solar Lights donated to each family and a ShiftPod shelter donated to the Navy for remote medical clinics…now that is Undaunted!
